This Koikawa Nigori is called "Kohaku", amber in Japanese, a name that reflects the soft turbidity typical of Nigori sake. This Junmai nigori expresses a dry and almost masculine character in the mouth, a very rare quality in the world of cloudy sake. It can be consumed throughout a meal and being pasteurized it can also be stored at room temperature, and you can even try drinking it slightly heated!
However, we recommend tasting it cold, shaking the bottle gently before consumption to mix the fermentation deposit with the rest of the sake.
